We got our bags without incident and made it to our hotel. Though it was a bit rainy, the traveling was quite smooth coming over and everyone seemed excited (and even rested!).

Professor Myers gave us a great tour of Unter den Linden – here some of us are at the Brandenburg Gate (while the others warmed up in a Dunkin’ Donuts).

We walked from this site to Alexanderplatz, over a 3km walk. Below we are just across from Humboldt University standing in the Bebelplatz – the location where on May 10, 1933 students burned thousands of books. We are now checked in and everyone is getting settled.
